A coroner’s report released on Friday reveals that Dr. Dre’s son, Andre Young Jr. died from an overdose of heroin and morphine on August 23. He was 20. The coroner ruled his death as accidental and says the case is closed.

According to reports, Young returned home from hanging out with friends that night and his mother, Jenita Porter, recalled hearing him snoring around 5:30 a.m.

When she checked on him in his room around 10 a.m., she found him unresponsive and called 911. Paramedics pronounced him dead at their Woodland Hills, California home.

According to Neisel Soundscan Maria Carey is the top selling female artist of 2008 with 51,569,000 units sold. Wonder if her marriage press helped with her sales in 2008.
