Credit Card Information You Should Know
There are some credit card lenders out there who are trying to scam you. They’ll offer you a good interest rate, wait for you to spend a lot of money, and then suddenly jack up the interest through the roof, suddenly you’re screwed, with nowhere to go.
It is sad that many people accept credit cards from a Financial Institution they currently have an account with without checking on what is out there. Based on a survey I had conducted in May 2007, many people are offered credit cards when they are opening a new checking or savings account and in most cases people accept the offer.
Just like shopping for the best price for clothing, food, etc., you can also shop around for the best credit card offer. There is no crime in doing that and having a credit card separate to the Financial Institution you bank with.
Additionally, you should know that credit card companies come up with new and better offers every day, therefore, your current credit card may not be beneficial to you if you’ve had it for over a year. As new offers are presented to the market it might be better to see if you can negotiate better terms with your credit card company, there is no harm in doing that. LET YOUR CREDIT CARD WORK FOR YOU.
