Tennessee Titan Quarter Back and 2006 NFL Rookie of the Year, Vince Young had a photo spread in the October 2007 issue King magazine where he discusses his fashion sense:

“I was raised by five ladies. Growing up, I’d be worrying about who’s in the mirror taking all day to get their clothes on. Now, I’ve picked up that habit. I just like to look good. What I wear depends on what the function is. I always look at it from a marketing standpoint. When you see me being interviewed, you can see that I speak well and dress nicely. When it comes to having business meetings, I come in the same way. That’s my image.”

He also admitted to changing outfits several times before leaving the house. It’s good to see a man who takes pride in his appearance.

The bi-annual Magic Marketplace convention started this week in Las Vegas, with labels Sean John and Dereon showing off their latest in showrooms. Diddy, Tina Knowles, Beyonce, Russell Simmons, and LL Cool J are some of the celebrity “designers” that have made their way to the event to help unveil their pieces to buyers and browsers.

It is not a game with the Knowles family. The ladies have pulled another clothing line from under the threads and its coming from straight from Momma Tina …or “Miss Tina” that is.

Tina Knowles’ new clothing line debuted this past weekend on HSN (Home Shopping Network) and here's a glimpse of it. I think it looks pretty stylish for her target audience:

“I love the fact that the sizes go all the way up [2 to 24],” said Knowles in a statement. “There’s a forgotten woman who wants a pencil skirt, too, or a blouse that’s a little lower cut.

“Beyonce has backup singers who are full-figured women. Being a woman over 50, I try to think about the things I have going for me and the things I want to hide, like my arms. I’m giving them options with shrugs. I’ve been a stylist for so many years, I know how to accentuate the positive.”

“Accentuate the positive”…I like that…

Here are some looks from her line, that include shoes and accessories. The prices are pretty affordable as well, ranging from $69 jeans to $200 handbags.

Beyonce announced the Canadian launch of her “Dereon” junior clothing line in Toronto yesterday. Also there was her Mother and designer Tina Knowles, and Dereon spokesmodel Solange Knowles. All the ladies were decked out in the line’s current apparel, with Beyonce wearing the Dereon Nefertiti dress.

Kanye West and his fiancee Alexis Phifer are on the cover of the August issue of Harper's Bazaar. In the magazine, they open up their Los Angleles home and go into both of their fashion tastes.

He says on his personal style.“It’s like …pop luxe. Pop and luxury. Everything about me is pop and luxury.”

“Alexis is my original stylist,” says West.”She helped me get fresh!”

Now I thought Kanye developed his own style, as out of the two she seems to be the 'plainer' of the two, but in this photo layout Alexis is actually the more fierce half of the duo!

I'm sure she helps inspire Kanye's style, because apparently on first meeting Alexis, Kanye seemed extremely insecure

"Alexis was wearing Miss Sixtys. … I had on this throwback jersey, and the first thing I said to her, because I could tell she was stylish, was ‘I don’t normally dress like this!’”

Did you know Jennifer Hudson signed on to be the new face of Avon?

I love the ambience of these ads - the darkness, the purple, Jennifer's dress.

So far it appears as though Jennifer's popularity from her Oscar win isn't going to be a one time deal. She has a movie in the works with fellow Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, a friendship with one of fashion editor, Andre Leon Talley, and now this Avon ad campaign.

Some have somewhat criticized the move, citing Avon's limited reach. But these ads are going to appear in at least six women's magazines this August, and will provide Jennifer with more exposure. I think it's an excellent move on her part, chick is definitely doing her thing.
